GabSoul // MUVVA NAYCHA // THE ECLECTIC SELECTA

Born and bred in New York from Trinidadian + Guyanese roots; GabSoul grew up heavily influenced by the colorful spectrum of sounds that surrounded her. Known as the "eclectic selecta," she specializes in various soulful genres, blending the old with the new, creating memorable sonic experiences. Briefly after her start in music PR post-college, she felt called to pivot careers and delved into DJing and experiential curation as a multidisciplinary artist, writer and creative producer.

The selectress has graced the soundscapes at AFROPUNK Fest, MoMA PS1, Brooklyn Museum, Lincoln Center, R&B Only Live, Everyday People, Apple Music, NYC's Radio 103.9FM, Boiler Room; and beyond. As a DJ and Lightworker, she strives to uplift the spirit of the collective with her self-expression. She’s dedicated to using her platform to promote Love, authenticity and mindfulness; as well as to amplify the Caribbean/African diaspora's creative contemporaries and historical context. Her event and multimedia series “Riddim & Soul” is intended to amplify left of center Afro-diasporic creatives with music as the foreground.

Deeply rooted in her spiritual divinity, she speaks to her community with an emphasis on self-empowerment from the inside out. GabSoul uses her voice and curations as Love vessels, offering safe spaces for people to freely connect through high vibrational experiences, conversations, and the power of mindfulness & music.
